What Matters Most by James WalkerHidden Cost by Novie Trump
project 11: Creature Comforts
May 4 - 27, 2012
Opening Reception: Saturday, May 5th, 5-7pm

As part of the Workhouse Arts Center’s Creature Comforts exhibition, microWave project will present a curated two person installation exhibition featuring Novie Trump’s Hidden Costs and James Walker’s What Matters Most.

MicroWave project served as the jurors for the Creature Comforts sculpture and installation exhibition, choosing work that covered a wide range of literal and conceptual approaches to the idea of what creature comforts means in today’s modern society. In addition to this exhibition, we were asked to curate a site-specific installation exhibition in an adjoining gallery. We are thrilled to be able to work with two extremely talented and well-known local artists, Novie Trump and James Walker. Both of these artists created their own unique interpretations to the theme Creature Comforts.
