The tactile qualities of the ceramic form within this sculpture are created through a technique called pinching. As a result, the wall is not only incredibly thin, but also shows the mark of the hand frozen in the surface through hundreds of tiny fingerprints. The reflection then completes the piece, absorbing the solid shape; depicting how physical objects can transcend the physical realm.
